It is difficult to decide where my family is going to go for vacation. We are 8 adults and 6 kids strong so it is impossible to get all of us to agree on a vacation. Until we continued our first cruise. It was awesome. No squabbling about who was going to do what and which day....bliss.

A cruise is able to the most wonderful getaway vacation ever. My family and I have now been on different cruise lines and we like it. We adore the way everything is right there on the boat. It is not necessary to worry about where you are going to enjoy dinner or where you will spend the day. Everything you desire to do is right there, such as a floating hotel and restaurant all in one. A real restful time away. That way when you go home you do not need time to recover from the journey.

Taking this idea to the next level would be gaining a personal yacht of you own. A great opinion, on the other hand, one it is not possible for us to afford. On the other hand, then we found a company that does luxury yacht charters. The company is called International Yacht Charter Group and time spent on these boats is awesome. I've read all about the things they let you do:

Water sports such as scuba diving and snorkeling

A crew there to cater to your every requirement

Sunbathing away from frequently creepy eyes of other travellers

The whole picture sounds like more fun than I am able to imagine.

They will as well go to almost any port of call in the globe, literally. I believe that I will visit Jamaica when I book a boat. I love the island and the beaches and the shopping. I went there once on a cruise but to set my own time frame with a private yacht charter would make it so much more fun. My family would enjoy the indefinite time to shop and sunbathe without the burden of getting back to the boat before it leaves us. I'd as well someday like to go north and do things such as whale watching. Observing some of the greatest wildlife in the world that is otherwise elusive to me is an activity that I'll do.

With the economy where it is, it's important to ensure that where you are spending your time and money is a position and activity that you actually want to do. One with a individual touch that gives you memories that are amazing and special to you and yours. I am going to continue looking into International yacht Charter Group and see about spending my time and money on a tour that is the single most perfect vacation we are able to choose.

More Nautical Advice

Let’s say a group of four sailing friends from the States fly off to the U.S. B.V.I.’s for a week-long wonderful charter of a 42 foot monohull, touring islands and discovering legends.  It sounds perfect, right?  How could it go wrong?  Exactly 8 days later, the group arrives home.  One had just a so-so time, and the rest had a terrible time.  Why?  They forgot one of the most important things you need to do before even stepping aboard that sailboat: choosing a Captain.

It may seem almost obvious, but it is important that the Captain be elected far in advance of the ship leaving the dock. At home, while charter plans are being drawn up is best.  It avoids fist fights on the wharf in front of strangers.  If you have a feeling that you are about to sail with a  Captain Bligh, on the H.M.S. Bounty, maybe you should develop a prior commitment.

Usually the person with the most sailing or boating experience will be best as the fearless leader.  It also could be the  person who is paying for the whole clambake and is used to being “in charge” but does not have a lot of nautical experience   Not a problem, in that case it means that the “Captain”, making overall decisions, while the “Skipper” is running the ship.  Hopefully you or one of the other members of your charter party has at least some boating experience.  If not, you may wish to employ the “Skipper”.   Your charter company can help you do that
